![]() ![]() The title could help Bytedance gain a share of the mobile MMO market dominated by Tencent and NetEase. ![]() The title is being beta tested in markets such as Europe and Southeast Asia. NARUTO: Slugfest is the first MMO title for the IP featuring an open world with real-time combat. According to the GameLook report, the two titles generated RMB 800 million and RMB 180 million on iOS in 2019, respectively. Naruto has been a highly profitable game IP in China, with Tencent currently distributing two of the most profitable titles, mobile fighting game NARUTO Mobile and mobile role-playing game NARUTO Online Mobile. However, according to Kaiser Culture’s 2019 results, which was released on April 29, Bytedance will be the exclusive distributor of the mobile game in China. Kaiser Culture, the developer of NARUTO: Slugfest, announced at a press conference in November last year that it would release the IP-based title in partnership with Tencent. The game is the first known MMO title that Bytedance would publish. Naruto Storm 1 gave you more freedom than Rise of a Ninja and Broken Bonds combined together, Konoha was huge, pretty much Grand Theft Auto but in Naruto universe.Bytedance has recently acquired the exclusive rights to distribute IP-based massive multiplayer online (MMO) mobile game NARUTO: Slugfest in China, replacing Tencent as the publisher for the title in the country, game media GameLook reported. It is a shame, that a game from 2007 has more possibilities (open world, cool handsign chakra system and many more) than a game from 2017. I couldn't care less if the story mode was open world or like Naruto Storm Generations, as long as it has replay value and the combat system is top notch. I, for instance, prefer better gameplay over a better story. Actually, no, it's a shame that you don't understand that other people prioritize other things in games. Such a shame that your only subjective criteria to enjoying an anime game is the freedom in it. There were no freaking walls, that you couldn't climb over. ![]() In Rise of a Ninja you could walk around where you wanted to. There are no possibilites to leave this path. In the Storm games you walk around on a premade path. Rise of a Ninja and Broken Bonds had much more freedom in their story mode, that any Storm game until now. That being said, I think the whole performing jutsu with the two analog sticks for hand signs thing that BB had was very nice. It was definitely closer to a stable fighting game than the STORM series but I don't really play STORM because I want to play a fighter, I play it because I enjoy the freedom of movement.
